The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy

Just heard on the radio (BBC) HHGG was 36 years old last Saturday.
I still enjoy listening to it.

And it was light years ahead (crappy pun intended) of the recent....ish film version.

I'm a big fan of Douglas Adams' work. You may have noticed.

    Had no idea.
I take it you have all the series on CD (first to five), the books, the records, the TV series and the movie. I think I'm missing the TV series and one or two of the books.
The first and second radio series are my favorite.

BBC Radio 4 Extra - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Primary Phase, Fit the First

Got them all except the movie. Got the books in both paperback and Kindle. I have mp3 versions of the radio series, and yes, S1 is the best.

I had the TV series on my old iPod, along with Blackadder 2-4. Must watch them again, or see if I can transfer them back to the PC.

The BBC has just released the 30th anniversary edition of the game, you can play it online:
BBC Radio 4 Extra - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Game - 30th Anniversary Edition

You have to sign in to play it, not sure if one has to reside in the UK but I suspect not.

You need five books to have the complete Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy trilogy. If you don't have all of them, DON'T PANIC.

I always go back to re-read these books. They are classics that can't be beat. Also played the original text-based computer game (which was hard).
The Dirk Gently books are great too but, albeit, in a different league.
