    Loire Blue Defenders?

    Hey guys

Taken the plunge and ordered a 90- couldn't be more stoked!

At this stage have spec'd a Loire blue with Indus silver roof.

Has anyone seen a Loire blue in the flesh yet? Understand that it's taken over from Baltic blue.

I think Loire might be a touch lighter than Baltic, so would appreciate a pic or an opinion if anyone has seen one around.

    Cheers

    Tom

We have a Loire blue 90 on order which we should get on Wednesday.... all being well. I can grab a pic then.

The colour looks identical to Baltic as far as I can tell. I have pics of the 2 colour samples next to each other:

Edited to add I am pretty sure the 90 in the first few pages of the 2014 brochure is Loire blue with Silver roof

Congrats on the new 90 mate! Thanks, a pic would be great.

You're right- the 2014 brochure has a Loire blue with silver roof which I reckon looks unreal. Just curious to see how dark it actually is because they make it look pretty light in the brochure.

    Cheers

in the first picture with the light on both the samples Loire blue looks darker and the sample of the baltic lookis like it might take on a slight green tinge to the blue when the sun is on it.

Yeah agree, Baltic does appear slightly green and the Loire does look more 'blue' in the light.

Never know what it'll look like in the flesh though!

The Loire Blue isn't specific to the Defender. If you look around in the yards you may see a Freelander, disco or rangie in the Loire Blue. I know in December when we were looking at the different colours our local dealer had about 5 different models in the yard in the Loire Blue.
