    TD5 Cargo Barrier Head Rests....

This is only applicable to Pre Puma models, the ones without rear headrests. I have a cargo barrier, the barrier is quite close behind the seats. The kids complain about not having anything to rest their heads on etc etc..

So has anyone made up some foam pads for head rests, just looking for something to mount on the cargo barrier. I wonder if an auto upholsterer would be able to make up something?

Had a thought while reading this, maybe a cheap easy way is some cushions from ikea or wherever and hold them in place on the cargo barrier with double sided Velcro tape.
Easy to take off if needed at any time for extra pillows or whatever.

    Regards,
    Mike.

You used to buy them from milford . I do have a old one but don't know how to do photos on here. It is a piece of ply that has bolts that go through it and then wing nuts hold it through the barrier. It is covered by about 2 inch foam and black vinyl covering the lot.hope that explains it ok.

I used to have a set mounted off the cargo barrier when the kids were travelling with us (makes me sound old)

Was just a piece of ply with two bolts through, padding and covered. Secured with a plate of aluminium and nuts.

I used some camping mat, the stuff you can buy at bunnings, they sell it in packs of four, you only need one, cut it to size and zip tie it to the barrier, it also has the benefit of having hole in it so doesn't obscure your vision when looking over your shoulder/ rear view mirror.

We also had this problem when we had a 110.
My better half made a couple of head rests for the kids that could be adjusted depending on whether a child or adult was in the seat.

She has just finished making a pair for the 80", same thing, hooks through the cargo barrier so they can be moved easily to suit.
