HID driving lights on LE Exped roof rack

I found these lights on eBay (Beamax) $117 and it is from local Melbourne supplier.
Does anyone know of these as I want to buy two pairs and hook them up to my new LR expedition roof rack.
Am reluctant to spend $700 per pair on known brands.

You would do better to buy a led bar - lower profile and better for roof mounting.

Re the lights; Those reflectors look ridiculous! I doubt they're a decent light.

Seriously - go a light bar! For the roof, it does what roof lighting is suppose to do, and better

I don't mind LED bars but I prefer round lights, a pair pencil beam and one pair wide
I am not too concerned how they look as long as they do the job. I admit don't like the red surround

What do you want the lights to do? Sounds like a funny question, but are they for outback roads, tight bush racks, etc?

Be aware of the rulings regarding light bars, they have changed recently and may affect what you're proposing. Basically long single light bars may not be approved but pairs of shorter light bars are OK.

It's worth checking with Vic Roads before buying one large single bar.

Most of my driving is in Victoria and not the outback. Having said that I am planning a long trip next year all the way to the Pilbara.

Single solid bars are now accepted, twin paired bars were the old acceptance - you can now run single long bars.
