That was quick Matt - good work.
I've seen starter contact kits from the US on ebay if yours are really tired. When I did mine a few years back I stripped it and took it in to Ashdown Ingram and got some that were close, and a new set of brushes. Had to file the contact plate a bit to get it to fit, but was pretty close.
From memory the brushes were brazed on, and I couldn't shift them with a soldering iron. Cut them off and soldered the new ones on and all has been happy since.
