    PTO shaft for Series 2

I am looking at retiring to a small couple of acres and plan to have a wood heater because I like them, but seeing as I appear to not be getting younger, the thought of chopping wood and stuff when I am in my 80's doesn't thrill me so I was looking at using my Series 2 as a log splitter etc, using the PTO to drive it.

Can you still get hold of PTO shafts and such?

They come up for sale occasionally but are getting expensive.

I have one on a SII. If you get one that's been removed you need to make sure you get the PTO for the gearbox, shafting, the PTO box that bolts on the rear crossmember plus there are a few other bits & pieces.
I think it's listed in the options in the parts manual.
