Only mods are the rims, tyres, bullbar, custom tray, snorkel and UHF. Underneath looks like it has never been to the beach or off road.
While it is straight and clean, I reckon they are $5-8K off on their asking price. There are some others around with a lot less kays for the same or less coin with a similar fitout.
Would you agree they are way over on price?
Haven't seen any firm life expectancy figures for the 2.4L PUMA either.
What concerns would you have about one with 160,000km on the clock?
My honest opinion, over procedure.
I picked this up for 28k admittedly it had 175000 on the clock. Now has 190k and hasn't missed a beat. I might be lucky or it might be testament???
I bought my 110 off of Carsales.com and was as lucky enough to score a fantastic deal from a buyer who really needed to sell quickly.
When I did a car history check through the same website it showed me a comparative graph of where it sat in terms of other similar models using kilometres and asking price. This is an option to you to help out with respect to what you might like to offer a seller.
As far as asking price, I'd recommend narrowing down the search to 2-3 vehicles and from there decide what you're prepared to pay and for what. No harm in making an offer.
That rig looks like its in good condition and well looked after.
For what it's worth, I scored an 09 Defender 110 wagon with bull bar, driving lights, winch, long range tank, dual battery and extra 12v wiring with 68,000kms for $32,500. It was dropped slowly from $39,000 ish in order to get a quick sale before relocation overseas.
