Help with Wiring ARB Twin Motor Compressor

I recently purchased an ARB twin motor compressor for my Perentie. I decided to install it into the box behind the passenger seat, easy connection for the battery.

I have wired it up to the battery, and now am totally flummoxed! I have the switch loom to install. The only other automotive wiring I have done was to install my CB Radio which was easy compared to this

Basically I have 2 wires on the loom that according to the wiring diagram connect to the ignition and to dash illumination. I did some hunting on the web, and found that I should be able to connect the dial illumination to the dimmer switch, but am struggling to know where the ignition wire needs to be connected. I suspect it is so obvious that none of the website I have looked through have even mentioned it

Any help gratefully received as usual.

A word of caution to anyone else installing one, check the installation template. I found the one in the box was not scaled correctly, the holes on the template did not line up to the actual bolts holes !!

Not sure why but could only download 1 photo.

I mounted mine last week in my 90. I used masking tape to trace the position of the bracket, then drilled said holes.

As for the wiring, you need a 12V ignition switched supply and a 12v supply which is active only when the headlights are on.

You can use a multimeter or a test light to work this out.
12v Ignition could be from a cigarette lighter or 12v outlet. Illumination circuit could be tapped into the light switch, or even from any wire which supplies power to a light which comes on with the headlilghts (ie a dash light etc).
