    Intermitent fault

I have a 2007 Discovery 3 with 2.7TD engine which has only done 88,000Klms. Gearbox has been serviced and upgraded. Recently it has started coming up with three warning lights on dash and going into limp home mode. Speed of vehicle is never the same or time being travelled. Three lights are, brake pad warning (pads, disc's, and sensors all checked out ok), hill desent light comes on and DSC lights comes on, then discovery goes into limp home mode. We live 200klms from service agent, does any one have any ideas or heard of this problem before.
After the engine is switched off and then restarted the fault lights are reset and all normal again. This can last for a 10metres or 10 klms.

Check to see if the wiring harness behind the left front wheel has pulled away from its clip and that the insulation on some wires has been worn through from rubbing on the tyre.

Hi Steve, check your brake light bulbs, next replace your brake switch (they are cheap and you can get one online and posted to you) good to have a spare anyway. How old is your battery? This too can cause weird symptoms.

Checked brake lights today and found that left hand light was blown. Replaced bulb and went for long test run. Problem fixed, thanks for advice.
