    Question Mud Stuff roof console

Has anyone actually fitted one of these?
Opinions on how difficult to fit and product quality would be good.
Also did it do the job?
    Do things fall out?
And does it sag if a bit of weight is in it.
Or any other info that may be of use.

    Cheers,
    Paul.

I am interested in these also mate. Another question if I may add is:

If a UHF without a front mount speaker is mounted in the DIN opening how much does the sound get muffled?

Yes - have installed one of these into a 2013 DC 130.
Installation was not difficult. Instructions were good.
It is probably not the neatest/flashest console (and it certainly was not the most expensive) - its just plastic moulding- but suits me fine. Its my main work vehicle and functional is the key priority - not appearance.
Provides a place for lots of stuff. Also a good place for a lot of the electrical stuff - have the power supply for the phone kit, aerial cables for UHF and phone, engine alarm, switch to join the two batteries together for winching, voltage meters for the two batteries, fuel gauge for the 2nd tank etc all fitting inside it - and then no need to drill holes in the main dash for all of this stuff. The way that the console mounts onto the inside top of the windscreen and adjoins the pillars at the side makes it very easy to run all of the cable for this gear - and keep it al out of the way and out of sight.

Put a mini UHF radio under it (and in the centre) to keep the speaker pointing at me. This fits and works fine.
Overall I am very happy with it.
