New Range Rover Sport S model

Has anyone seen this article of the new RRS they are brining in base model called the S it will have cloth trim which surprises me for a car that will have a retail price of $92k! But great to see the SE and HSE models are finally getting some more decent standard features that should have been standard anyway for a car of that price.

i hear some of the entry levels do not even have electronic seat controls (according to a LR sale person, so maybe not the best qualified ) the price is extraordinarily expensive at the base level in comparison to the MY10 models, and less toys

I wonder if the RR sport price is set high so as to make the Discovery Sport seem more attractive?

I thought the Evoque had already brought the Range Rover name down!

And single speed transfer case as well,i bet.

I still can't work out how an Evoque ever became a RR

I think you're right about the transfer case. I read an article on CarAdvice, no mention of the T/C, as it wasn't on the previous base model either...which probably isn't an issue for people who want the car but don't need or want a T/C.

The M class has been doing this for yonks and hasn't seemed to have done them any harm.

But 92k or whatever it is for cloth seats is just a bit rude though
