i hear some of the entry levels do not even have electronic seat controls (according to a LR sale person, so maybe not the best qualified) the price is extraordinarily expensive at the base level in comparison to the MY10 models, and less toys

Has anyone seen this article of the new RRS they are brining in base model called the S it will have cloth trim which surprises me for a car that will have a retail price of $92k! But great to see the SE and HSE models are finally getting some more decent standard features that should have been standard anyway for a car of that price.

But have you read about the RRS SVR - LR Special Operations' race version.

I think you're right about the transfer case. I read an article on CarAdvice, no mention of the T/C, as it wasn't on the previous base model either...which probably isn't an issue for people who want the car but don't need or want a T/C.
The M class has been doing this for yonks and hasn't seemed to have done them any harm.
But 92k or whatever it is for cloth seats is just a bit rude though
