been looking usual at things to make loti better and seen electronic points just wondered how many people have swaped for them (2.25) and do they just bolt/ screw straight in

You can do it two ways:
1. Buy a new electronic distributor
2. buy an electronic points module which fits in place of the points in the existing distributor.

I have done both and both are excellent. Better starting, idling (mine now idle at 400rpm easily), zero maintenance, better pick up.
The advantage with the new distributor is it comes with a new vacuum advance as well.
costs for both:
1. +-$200
2. +-$80

Tbh I'm quite skint ATM so it would be like the 80 dollar one for now but I would want to replace the dissy even tho I love the way points work even if they hurt me a lot
