Gearbox hesitation 1st to 2nd gear

Wondering why my gearbox would have slight hesitation between 1 and 2 in normal mode

Not present in sport or any of the TC modes (or at least not noticeable)!

Could this be a mapping or software issue - or first signs of an oil change needed.?
    Thx all

It may have learnt to be lazy, in which case either clear adaptations using a diagnostic tool or drive the vehicle a bit more vigorously for a while.

I tend to clear adaptations on the infrequent occasions I have my Faultmate connected.

    Lazy ?

    Thanks -
the car knows more about me than I do by the sounds of things > except I'm too busy to be lazy.
I want to be lazy - but I've forgotten how to do it .. or not do it - I'm confused ?.!.^.V ... I think

I don't drive in traffic so maybe it knows there's no hurry ?

I always said the car is smarter than I am ..

I'll get the blokes at British offroad to reset next service. Hopefully

then give it a bootful for the first few months - drag at the lights etc and if I get approached by the cops I'll tell them I'm not a hoon - I'm simply training my car to work correctly.

Drive in Sport or Manual modes for a couple of days, seems to make the gearbox more attentive.
