I wish I could disable mine at times parrticularly in long grass.

I don't think there is any way to do it.

    Unlike the D2.....

Yes I'm sure there is a fuse behind the glovebox which is for the sensors. I'll let you know tomorrow which one.

You can disable the car default setting, however you need a nanocom or similar tool to make the change.

I had some success with covering up the two inner sensors with clear floor protectors you can source from a hardware shop. The LHS one I cut in half to mask the mitch hitch and the RHS one fully covers the sensor to mask the RWC and hitch.

Seems to work for me reasonably well.

Passenger side fuse box behind the lower glovebox.

Remove fuse 36: Tyre Pressure monitor / Park distance control.

Give that a try, or if you want make up a remote switch with an inline 5amp fuse so you can enable/disable easily.

How do you get to this? Do I need to remove glove box?

I found out how to remove glove box and removed the fuse but that didn't stop switch on dash flashing. Sometimes it cancels by pressing it and sometimes it doesn't.

Definitely fuse 36, note the label is above the fuse.
    Worked on a 05 D3.
Check legend on back of glove box.
