    Puma 110 rear roof console.

Been searching for some time with no luck so I made one myself.
    Has 2 6x9 speakers
DC power station 2 USB, 2 cig sockets and 4 switches
    LED light strip.
Shelf / storage compartment ( yet to put on netting to keep everything in. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1423461389.135802.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1423461417.070351.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1423461455.340380.jpg

    WOW...!

That is tidy mate! Some skills you've got there, as this is the first time I've ever seen something fit the back "corner" as good as that!

You should sell your pattern to one of the manufacturers. I would go for a few different options in switches, lighting and auxiliaries (I'm getting too old to justify the speakers ), but that's really a very good idea.

    Cheers,

    Lou

Here are some more pics of the early stages for anyone keen to make one themselves.
I use 9mm marine ply and 3mm craftwood for the bendy bits.
I only used 2 screws to hold it in just above the rear door

It's a little hard to see in the photos, or perhaps it is just my eyesight?

Did you paint this to match the headliner, or cover it in fabric?

If it's fabric, where did you get it from?

Yes I covered it in fabric.
It's is a little lighter than the plastic trim in my defender.
    Got the fabric from Bunnings.

I see you've got yourself a wind deflector kit from Britpart. I was considering smoke grey Climair ones from LandRover Tuning, but they're not cheap at $170 for front only.

How do yours fare in terms of price, colour and functionality?

    Thanks
