    Converting 2A ute into Stationwagon

    Hi all.

Thinking about converting my Series 2A lwb 109 inch ute into a 5/6 seater stationwagon. the tray is very rusted and falling apart and more seats would be a bonus in my case.

Anyone ever done this before, and if anyone knows, i have been searching for info/manuals on station wagons (especially the rear ends) but have been unsuccessful in locating diagrams or parts (the floor being the main one).

Can anyone help me on this?? :?:

I think the station wagons have a different chassis to the regular vehicle, but i've never compared one closeley enough to see. Not as easy as making a ute a hard top, but body parts for the station wagon could prove hard to find.

wagon chassis are slightly different - fuel tank is at the rear and some of the body mount pedestals at the rear behind the B pillar are different.
You will need to do a small amount of welding to mount the wagon fuel tank and make some body mounts.

Apart from this, should be a bolt in operation.
