Intermittent td4 auto gearbox issues

Hey all

I've got a 2005 td4 auto with a bit of a gearbox gremlin - occasionally (once every week or two, on a vehicle driven daily) when selecting Drive, there is no drive - the vehicle just behaves as though it's in neutral. Reselecting Park, then back to Drive, seems to rectify the issue, but I'm just wondering if anybody has any experience with this particular problem, and whether or not it could be a harbinger of more serious dramas.

The Jatco JF506e does have issues with the valve body wearing. I would suggest at a minimum a oil change. If it continues may need valve body changed or rebuilt/sleeved.
