What is the issue?
If you are able to remove/replace the unit you will save a tonne on labour
(and if you have the ability to remove/replace and can read a workshop manual I would be guessing you could rebuild it. It is a very simple gear box)
The money you save on labour, replace the centre differential with an Ashcroft limited slip centre diff
Not only does it make the rebuild a doddle but you end up with a better box
