Bearmach Rock Sliders for Defender? (Update with pics)
Hi,
Anybody using Bearmach rock sliders? I can get a set for the defender at Karcraft for $407 .. seems good value. They are made from galvanised box section with a black nylon finish.
Comments/suggestions welcome ...

You take the sills of (if they have not already fallen off or been bented to hell. )
Most of my sills have had to be taken off with an electric spanner as the bolts tend to rust
The the front bit bolts to the front outrigger which holds the bulkhead, and the rear bolts on the rear out rigger. See easy job to fit

they look pretty nice, but I reckon you could make a great set for half that if you are handy with a welder and grinder...
I made some up for my old Defender when my fabrication skills were very crap and they were easy as... some box steel, weld on end caps... some angle for brackets and hey presto...
Could make a much better set now that my booty fab skills have evolved... but still easy to make with basic welding and grinding skills...
However if you can't or can't be bothered.. they look the goods... but I would still like a small rail on the outer edge for a little more vehicle protection and it serves as a step for the Mrs.
