How easy (hard) is it to install a cargo barrier?

I brought a cargo barrier not long after I brought my 110 and think it is about time I fitted it. Is it difficult?

Nah, not difficult at all, but guess it depends which barrier you have.
I fitted an autosafe to my 110 a while ago and the hardest part was lining up equal spaced gaps around all sides of the barrier (given the vagaries of Defender body dimensions...) so that it looked central.

My auto safe barrier was a custom job (which they produced very quickly after I provided photos and measurements from my cargo area).

It wasn't a particularly difficult install, apart from the part where I had to get my fat fingers into a tiny space when fitting the top bracing connections.

I'm sure the Milford will be quite manageable if you follow the "destructions".

    Go for it

Thanks, I was a bit concerned about the drilling holes in my little truck, but I guess if they are in the wrong spot they can act as drain holes

I fitted a Milford when I bought mine. No problems at all and very quick and easy.

Can't remember by brand one but it mounts to plates you put in under rear seat locking feet bit and rear hand grabs. Use existing hardware and screw in two halves of cages into mounts. Took less than 20 minutes.

20 minutes!! it took me that long just to read the "destructions". Had another look on the weekend and there is just too much drilling for my liking. Booked it in with an authorised Milford installer and they said they allow 2 1/2 hours to install!!
