Clutch Shaft

Hi all, I have just Replaced the Clutch Master cylinder, and Slave , fitted a new cross shaft and operating lever, this is the early series 2 set up, with the slave unit inside the support bracket, question is how much travel is normal, as I haven't got an exhaust it's hard to tell if the shaft is turning enough
Any help suggestions welcome

Hi I'm a bit late to this thread, but one option would be to lift the rear wheels, put the transfer in 2WD and if you can turn the rear prop with the clutch depressed it should be adjusted enough.
No doubt you'll need to fine tune it once its running but that should get you near.
