TDI 200 won't start = dead starter motor?

G'Day

Today after work, I went to my be-loved Disco and won't ever start!! But the battery is new (8 months old) and just found out the starter motor had it! It had been up and down a while ago.

Where do I get new or exchange from?? and $$..Thank...

Before you get carried away make sure you check the basics first, like no corrosion on your terminals and all your cables on the battery, starter and earth are tight and have a good contact.

Are you good mechanicaly??
if so strip the Starter and lubricate it.
As they sit low they fill with water and dust. Then they seize up.

I've had to do both the starters on the Disco and Defender.
