Can I convert my new IIA Tray Top to Wellside

    Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the great information I've found on this site already.

I'm the proud new owner of a Series 2A Pickup with an alloy tray and would like to change it back to a well side pickup.

Just wondering if there is much involved in grafting an original wellside body to the vehicle.

    Regards
    Geoff

The essential panels that you need are contained in a complete series 2 or 3 tub with tailgate. You will be up for a lot of fixings and electrical fittings and wiring. The replacement tub Will replace your current cab back wall below the rear window panel.

Depending on the state of completeness of the tub you may have to do refit the fuel filler and the door lock fittings and seals.

Not a difficult job but you will need an extra set of hands at times. Watch the overall alignment but the tabs on the rear crossmember assist. I'm sure others will add Further advice.

Thanks for that. I've found another vehicle with a good body so that will keep me occupied for a while getting it tidied up and painted.
