    Defender Specialist - Sunny Coast

    Hi All
    If l wanted to have a Defender (2.4TDCi) given a pre-purchase inspection - who on the Sunshine Coast would be best?

    I am based in Vic so l am trying to get a check done from a distance if you know what l mean!

    British Off-Road are the only ones on the Sunshine Coast that I know of - hopefully others will chime in soon if there are others.

    There is a dealer in Maroochydore, on Sugar Road, but I would give them a wide berth and go to British Off Road along the highway. The BOR guys are experienced with Defenders being used as Defenders should be used, and know what to look for.

    Has been a long time since I was up there but Gold City Landrover were pretty good, not sure about now.

    MR Automotive in Redcliffe. These are the guys, I'm not sure if they do pre-purchase at all, but i'd wrangle the car for a few hours drive it down and get the boys to look at it. They'd be head and shoulders above everyone else up the sunny coast... probably in the whole of QLD actually.
