    Dodgy spare tyre

    Bit disappointed with myself. Today I had the wife's RRS on the hoist to change some oils and for the first time in many years I only just noticed the spare tyre /wheel are different sizes to the road wheel / tyres. 19 inch on the road and 18 inch spare.
    Im more disappointed with the dealer for selling it like that.
    The road wheels are goodyear 255 50 19 and have been replaced with similar goodyears but the spare is 255 55 18 unused continental. I measured the overall diameter and they look similar so it will probably do as a spare.
    Better than one of those skinny rescue spares

    It will be fine as a spare providing the tyre isn't perished.
