hi all found where the slipping and juddering in my 300tdi 110 is coming from, had the rear transfer output flange done about 500ks ago.
surprise picked up a bit of a oily smell from the handbrake area as well as the juddering and a clunk noise.
pulled it to bits and found oil everywhere, unfortunately I wiped some away before the photos but you can see the problem
I didn't replace the handbrake cable as planned, will have to get a new seal
also there was some movement in the bearing so a bearing as well the shaft is new
this is work I had done and paid for no wonder I feel like im losing it,
any suggestions welcome.cheers all
