4wdtv on the Gold Coast!!

Got some feedback from 4wdtv earlier this week which indicated that we will should be able to view their program in early October. See copy of letter received below, but the new transmitter should cover the gold coast for Briz 31- free to air just above SBS 28.

"I am writing to thank you for choosing Broadcast Australia as Briz31 Television's transmission service provider for the Brisbane market. Broadcast Australia is proud to be associated with the new Briz31 Television management team and we look forward to providing you with a very much improved Channel 31 service which will provide high quality picture to television viewers in the greater Brisbane area.

I am delighted to confirm that Broadcast Australia's project plan is on track and well advanced, The new transmitter will be installed, commissioned and operating at the 10kWatt full power from 3 October 2005.

The New NEC 10kWatt trasmitter, providing vastly increased transmitter power, will be coupled into Broadcast Australia's specially designed hi-tech UHF television antenna situated at the top of the Mt Coot-tha transmission tower. From 3 October 2005, Brisbane viewers will enjoy good quality uninterrupted reception of the Briz31 television program. It is important to note that Briz31 will be using the same antenna as currently used by SBS Television and as such Brisbane viewers will experience similar coverage.

In going forward, Braodcast Australia would like to extend the warmest welcome to Briz31 as our newest fully managed service customer and we welcome the opportunity to provide a highly professional uninterrupted transmission service."

Good to see they are improving reception somewere in the country. I hope to get free to air again one day.
