    4x4 Magazine Great Australian Bight - D4s

Apologies if this has already been posted but I thought I'd provide the link for 4x4 magazine's trip across the coast of the Great Australian Bight. [ame]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iQCoKBCiayA[/ame]

This featured in the magazine; I only read the second part and I can't remember what issue it was unfortunately. The video above I think is fantastic and I really am interested in this route now. All vehicles involved look like they had a bit of fun, and the 19s on the D4s looked like they copped a hammering. From what I understand, the vehicles were stock from Land Rover - who sponsored the trip - apart from the winches, roof racks, rooftop tent, and all terrains.

We are following that OTL maintenance track from Esperance to Ceduna as much as we can on our way back from WA. Towing campers means we will not be doing too many of the beaches but there is a track along the escarpment we will use. Still lots of opportunity to drop down to the Bilbunya Dunes, Toolina Cove and all the other places. One section from Israelite Bay of 60km will take us 2-3 hours in low range and that is using the escarpment track

Great video. Shame about all the bogged D4's though.
