I seem to have some Droop!

The D3 has been sitting without being started for 5 weeks 3 days.
Yesterday I had to go somewhere, jumped in without really looking at her and started up.
Noticed the front end raise? The car was not in access height & I touched no buttons, dials or anything else.
If the rear also came up I didn't notice it.
The rise was immediate, or almost, on starting the car.

    Questions:
Is this normal? I don't recall it happening before.
Could the car have lowered the front while self leveling?
Do I have some sort of leak but only in the front end?
Could it have just lost a bit of air because it was sitting for a good while?

    Thanks

    Yes, yes, yes, yes.

If it happens over only a few days then maybe start looking for the reason.

I bit of masking tape, pulled tight, from centre of hub, vertically to guard, left for a few days will tell you if you have an issue or not.

When mine was playing up it was almost on the bump stops after sitting for a week.

Yours doesn't sound bad,but there is probably a slight problem somewhere.

Similar question. I have an 800km old my16.5 tdv6 so very much a newbie! I've noticed on a couple of occasions after I've gotten out of the car and all doors are shut the suspension lowers the front end ever so slightly. You can hear the air being let out and the vehicle drop slightly, but for literally a second. Is this the self levelling doing its thing??

Yes, adjusting for your weight no longer in the vehicle mostly.
