    Rijidij Bull Bars

Im looking at purchasing a Rijidij full bull bar, Ive hit a few roos over the years sometimes causing heaps of carnage and sometimes just minor damage.

I recently Emailed Murray asking if the bars could take the impact of hitting a roo, unfortunately he had no knowledge of anyone hitting a roo, only a car accidents. Has anyone out there with a Rijidij Bull Bar had a roo impact with their Bull Bar. If so what was the out come.

Well it'd be better than having no bullbar I guess...

I remember when Bull Bars were called Roo Bars. No bull.
I've already got an ARB Bar It's solid as but the Rijidij looks much better. I'd be interested to know how they compare.
    Cheers, Billy.

On Tuesday morning I am departing on a road trip to visit my parents on the Sunshine Coast, via the Birdsville track (for the races) with a total of just over 5,000 km.

I reeeeeeeally hope I don't get to report on the Ridjidij v Kangaroo debate

    Cheers,

If anything can handle hitting a Roo I would put my money on Murray's products. I haven't owned one of his bullbars, but I did own one of his rear wheel carriers, he makes great stuff, he is just a little too modest to blow his own trumpet.

Having seen Murray's gear up close, it's solid as a brick ****house.
I'd trust one vs a kangaroo.

Really looking forward to checking it out on my defender. It's a roo a minute out my way, and I also don't hope I have any reports of meeting one close up but I did want all over protection just in case. We'll see how it goes. !

Oooh maybe I can have the dubious claim to a first!

I've got one of Murray's bars (awesome piece of kit) and hit a roo the other week. Fortunately it wasn't too big and I hit it just as it landed, so it was low-ish to the ground. I have one of the bars without the hoops over the headlights, so I was a bit nervous about it coming over the main bar and trashing the wings/bonnet.

    Result was Murray's bar - 1, poor roo - 0.

Only damage was a few marks on the main hoop and a dent in the stainless 'RoR' plate in the middle.

(I did go back and make sure the roo was dead and pulled it off the road!)
