    Updating GPS in D4

My recently acquired 2010 HSE D4 is in need of having the GPS / Navigation updated; a lot has most likely happened in the years since it was installed in the car. So, to the question; is Land Rover, through its dealerships, the only place to get the current version of maps (which I would presume, being a Land Rover product, will be as dear as poison) or is there an after market solution which may be marginally cheaper?

This is where the official updates come from. You're right, they are expensive. A lot of guys choose to buy a Tomtom or such as they are free updates and considered a better product.
