    Exhaust crush

    Thought I was down on power and found both exhaust pipes under the diff have been comprised. Looking for suggestions.

    I found a small impact on mine as well. For me I wouldn’t say its made any noticeable difference. Interested for what you do. You could easily have it cut out and replaced for it to be hit again next time. Add some plate to it to reinforce it somewhat is possible

    Not sure how to put picture on here but mine are a bit more impacted. Probably just repair until I get home but I had hoped there was an after market bolt on if not I will tight up a stainless job with heavier wall bends around that section.

    It is a dumb way to route an exhuast on a 4wd. One of those moments I suppose where the designers had a brain fart or the bean counters had their way

    People were getting frustrated with damaging their exhausts on reasonable outback gravel roads in several countries (eg Australia, Spain, South Africa) so various forms of raising the suspension were developed - shorter/adjustable link rods by several people, pneumatically shortened link rods and my electronic kit that modified the height sensor signals.
