    Puma Transfer Case Seal

Hi. I had my Defender in for its last warranty service and repair. The transfer case seal was weeping, they fixed it or so they say.
The fix was about 2k km ago. There is a damp area on the seal, I brought the car back they claim that when they replace a transfer case seal they apply a special "grease" and this is what I am seeing (ie residue of ). Is this true or is it weeping again ?.
Any ideas difficult I know from the above description but I have never heard of this special grease before. Its 300 km round trip back to dealer so don't want to waste my time.
    Cheers
