The load rating is higher primarily because of the increased width, so the vehicle load is spread over a larger surface area meaning the wider tyre can handle slightly more weight.
Regarding durability, I would say they are identical. If anything the bigger tyre may be more susceptible to damage as it has more tyre on the ground to pick up stones ect.
For increase durability you really want an LT (Light Truck) rated tyre that has a much tougher sidewall construction (usually 10 or 12 ply), though that will be a struggle to find in 19 inch configuration. Alternatively a different brand even in standard passenger car rating may offer a tougher construction than the Pirelli, such as the Goodyear Wrangler MTR, Duratac, Cooper Zeon LTZ and such.
