    Puma air con condensor

Trying to source an air conditioner condenser for a friends 2007 puma. I have tried after market suppliers to no avail and genuine ones are $3,209.00 from a dealer, which is a tad
expensive. So the question is does anyone know of a supplier here or the UK who could supply or alter another one to fit the defer. Or any contacts for wreckers here that might have one.
Ones on flea bay for other brands are only 6 to 800 bucks and was wondering if they could be adapted.

Have you tried Natrad or a similar radiator repairer?

If it’s got an accessible hole in it, take it to a aluminum boat welder. I’m a fridgie and I have done it a few times. Works well

Mine had a hole in it when I bought the vehicle, 2008 2.4 Puma 130. I also got the ridiculous quote from a LR dealer. It was very difficult to find a replacement until I found out that the condenser is the same as the TD5 and was listed as being for a TD5 in all the parts books at places like Natrad etc. Apparently it is only the first couple of years of Puma models that have the TD5 condenser so you should be in luck. Cost somewhere around $450-$500 iirc. Phone around every radiator place in the book and ask for a TD5 one.
