    Fit front parking sensors

I have an L320 2013 with no front parking sensors. Rear units are fitted.
Has anyone fitted them to a vehicle?
Should be the same as D4 I hope.
I understand I will have to modify the CCF file.
Where can I get the part numbers for what is required?
    Thanks.

    I’ve fitted them to a 2011 d4, i personally wouldn’t bother.
They are not accurate enough to give you any better judgement than your eye can as the beeping flat lines with 6inchs or more to spare. To be worthwhile I think that needs to come down to an inch.

rear sensors are a different story, I love them.

I find them excellent once you calibrate the noise and screen symbols to the actual obstacle distance in your head. I’ve gotten into some very tight spaces that I would not have attempted without both front and rear sensors.

Out of interest, are there markers of some sort on the bumper where you need to drill a hole? Or is it just measured up?

They’re designed for people who are reversing at normal speeds, not inching at 1kph. With 1 inch flatline practically no one could react in time. What you’d like is speed sensitive parking sensors that vary proximity output audibly based on vehicle speed so that the driver can stop in time relevant to the speed of the vehicle.
