    PUMA Heat Shield

    Hi All
I have a de-CAT pipe installed (2.4). I am wondering if l can now remove the heat shield from around the turbo, as with that CAT gone the temps would be far far lower.

    TIA,
    Michael

    leave it on...
*stops turbo/exhaust heat from migrating up into engine bay... i would guess.
    *keeps it all looking stock.
*make a bracket like this, nut/bolt at top, stainless hose clamp round exhaust, good for 2.4 / 2.2
*Sizes are: 60mm x 60mm, angled length 60mm, material, steel whatever takes your fancy.
