I am getting a few repairs sorted on my 09 Defender 130 and my mechanic says that the little clip on the end of the hi/Lo linkage that hooks onto the top of the transfer case is nearly broken (2of the 4 little arms) but when inquiring about a new one is told that needs to replace the whole linkage.

He thinks it is strange seeing as the broken part screws on/off.

Does anyone know if you can replace that part without having to get the whole linkage set up?
