    Have I been Hacked?

    Without any input from me and no consultation what so ever, My D3 has suddenly decided to display trip dist, dist to empty and speed in the message centre in "MILES"??. The fuel economy is still in Lts/100kms.
    Some thoughts on possible causes are,
    (a) A foreign government has decided to hack my car to influence the elections.
    (b) The D3 has decided to campaign for Brexit.
    (c) Its a land Rover feature I did not know about.

    So what else have to look forward to?

    Suspect you’ve magically pressed buttons in the correct order to make the change.

    Just last week after thinking about it for a good 4 years I did the seat belt bong removal trick;

    Ignition on
    Insert & release seatbelt buckle 9 times
    Bong is removed

    Can’t believe I waited so long. What a relief!

    A relative's Mitsubishi went totally Spanish after his wife pressed the wrong buttons, so I would look closer to home before blaming the Chinese.

    Have I been Hacked?

    In reality though, if I hold down the info button on the tip of the left stalk, it brings up a settings menu with options like “follow me home” lights etc. the last option if you scroll through is “units” and it flicks over from km/miles. I change it every now and then to convince the wife how economical the D3 is Have I been Hacked?
