    Clutch pedal adjustment 1985 County

    Hi,
I have installed a new master cylinder (and slave cylinder), and now need to get that small amount of play between push rod and piston. Any advice would be appreciated.

The master cylinder pushrod has 2 nuts for the adjustment Jim. One on each side of the pedal bracket. Just adjust them until you have the required amount of freeplay on the pedal. Something like 25mm freeplay I seem to remember. They can be accessed by removing the top plate on the pedal box assembly.
    Cheers......Brian

I've bled a few Counties & found the nearby hill very usefull to get the air pocket "out" - that might help.
