D4 master window switch panel how to remove

Has anyone removed the master window switch panel on the driver side door?

My rear view side mirrors are no longer responding to the “coolie hat” controller so was hoping to remove it and have a look internally. Failing that I’ll put a new panel in.

Tried to find some pics online of a removed one to reverse engineer but can’t find enough detail to work out how to remove it from door.

    Cheers
    Mike

Door trim panel off, then access from underneath, 4 screws and it’s off.

Thanks, I was under the impression that I might be able to do it without door trim removal.

    Cheers

    No such luck unfortunately...
