    Help with Bull Bar Install

    Ok,

    Hoping some one can help me here. May know that I am having a LR Factory Bull bar installed on my Disco 4 (2011) (powder coasted black btw! ). Part is VPLAP0107 - I believe
    Not the part number I was given when picking up the bar - but its the right bar for my Disco.... I have the later instruction manual (found on this sight) for the later model..

    So my Indi is installing but ... there is a slight issue - a thumping gap between the bumper . So :

    A: A Piece Missing (Infill panel) (as per the newer instructions)

    B: the front bar should be cut and left in place..
    This holds the light washers (see pictures anyway)

    The Indi has installed, a but a bit stumped however - the instructions I gave them does not seem to say much??? I did found the later model discos instructions and they show an 'infill panel'. So am I missing this? Or is the bumper needing to be cut?

    Any help appreciated (pictures/instructions/ideas etc)

    The Indy has missed the 1st 1/3 of the instruction manual. I’ve just fitted the same bar (also powder coated mat textured black) and you have to cut the original bumper bar to fit that gap. There’s quite a complex cut to mark out and cut

    The instructions above talk nothing about cutting the bumper. Maybe you can provide the OP with your alternative fitting instructions? Nowhere do the above instructions say to cut the bumper. They talk about an infill panel.

    Is there a template ? I guess I can come up with trace template .....over lay the original bumper and cut .. ..

    would not have a copy of the original instruction? I gave mine to the to the Indy

    It looks like part ‘H’ is missing from what you have bought, or just hasn’t been fitted.

    Thanks for this - have seen this one but I think for the 2013+ Disco. 2011 seemingly requires cut bumper...
