    Discovery 3 - selecting neutral with a flat battery

    Anyone know how to do this with a flat battery?

    There is a tab at the rear right corner of the selector mechanism. The plastic covers behind the gear selector need to be removed for access, probably partly dismantling the centre cubby-box covers. I can't recall if the tab needs to be lifted or pressed but it isn't hard to move so don't force it as you're probably pressing in the wrong direction.
