D3 bullbar to D4

My sons D3 has been involved in a prang and it may be written off.He hopes to get the wreck and wands to buy a D4. Does the arb winch bull bar off the D3 fit a D4 without any hassles.

Depends on the year, D3 up to 2011 D4 use the same bar, later are different.

13/14 yep. I do hear the ARB summit will fit the earlier models but they won’t certify which sucks as it looks so much better - it’s just they didn’t test on prior models

My ARB bar says D3-D4 2011 on the label, will probably fit other models but i'm sure there are minor differences.

I put the new summit bar (facelift version) on my 2011 D4 - it’s a direct fit.

I wasnt the first person to do this, someone else on this page has also done it hence why I knew. Therefore if the D3 bar fits the 2011 D4 you can safely say it will fit your model.

I installed mine myself, ARB wouldn’t do it for me as I told them what I was doing, if you didn’t explain your car is the earlier model then I doubt they would ask and hence would be happy to install it
