Swivel pre-load too low, panhard rod clevis bolt loose or bushes buggered or even a buggered shock can cause shimmy, although with a dodgy damper you really need to hit a bump during cornering to set it off
When the alignment was done, did they give it toe out?
A lot of shops that have never done a full time 4wd Land Rover before set toe in instead of toe out
