I would go with Cambo and if you want it removeable just use plugs instead of solder joints. No experience with either kit. Plenty of experience with Cambo. That's where I'm going for car play

Anyone have any experience with either the NAVIPLUS kit or bought the kit from Cambo@OldJaguar?
I'm after a kit that is easily reversible if issues arise which puts me off a little with the OldJaguar Kit (fair bit of splicing and Soldering?).
NAVIPLUS sent me their not-so-detalied instructions which also looks like it has some soldering, but it looks to be more adapters and connectors.
Both kits look to be made in South Korea.
Both kits have optional Steering Wheel Controller -
I thought the kits could audio stream from Bluetooth Connection, which would mean Fwd/Back vol+ vol- worked without the need for a SWC Adapter?
Happy for anyone to PM me with their experience of either kit.
Cheers,
D

Likewise, I have no experience with this particular kit, but will vouch for Cambo!
I purchased the wiring loom to install the Logic 7 Sound system from him. An absolute wealth of knowledge.
I bit the bullet and ordered the Naviplus kit for my run out model Series 4 because I was sick of Apple bluetooth and Land Rover bluetooth constantly and randomly disconnecting and reconnecting, and this kit is a plug-in job, so it is reversible. I particularly wanted the plug in phone connection, and this has worked well. You can get additional modules (at additional cost), and while I didn't want the bluetooth connection module, if I had realised at the time, I probably would have ordered the steering wheel control module for music selection (volume controls still work from the steering wheel).
I had the kit installed by my auto electrician, and he tore his hair out and had several phone calls to the supplier to sort out the poor information in the instructions. I am very happy with its performance, and no longer have the annoying disconnections. It would be nice to have the steering wheel music controls, but I don't know whether I will bother now. You do have to get used to managing the phone (answering/ending calls) on the touch screen, but I think that it is a small price to pay for reliability.
Happy to answer any further questions

I know it's not what you use it for but you may know... can you have your phone connected to the naviplus system - controlling music and the like with the touch screen via carplay (or whatever android use) but still stream the audio via bluetooth to the LR audio system (and thus still also be able to use the steering wheel music controls)?
I'm really happy with LR bluetooth, music and audio quality, and especially the hands free telephone. The audio from naviplus via the AUX input is never going to be as good and from other people's experiences can be quite poor and picks up electrical noise form the alternator and others electricals.
I do regular long trips using both radio streaming services (so that the radio station keeps playing while you have a phone signal) and stored music (when there is no signal), and have done so for some time. Perhaps it is the later model head unit in the 2016 run out model, but I think that the sound is superior using the plug in connection - it certainly operates at a lower volume setting (probably about 60% of the setting for the bluetooth connection). There is certainly no electrical noise. The one drawback is that this affects the telephone volume setting, as all the volume settings are the same on the NaviPlus, whereas with the Land Rover bluetooth connection, it remembers the volume settings for the different modes i.e. telephone, music etc.
I found it necessary to delete the bluetooth pairing between the car and the phone, as otherwise I was getting random disconnections/re-connections between the phone and either the car and my bluetooth hearing aids - very annoying and disconcerting. I did try simply deleting the audio streaming part of the phone pairing so that I could use the phone answer and end call buttons on the steering wheel, but using the steering wheel buttons also led to the random disconnection/re-connection issues, so in the end I just deleted the pairing completely - no more issues.
