your vehicle looks to me like it would be around 1966-67, but a couple of better picks in the engine bay of the radiator and radiator support panel, plus a couple of the interior bulkhead behind the gear stick etc would help.
It appears to have originally been fitted with a four cylinder engine (bent gear stick), but the bulkhead shape will confirm that for sure. 
It looks to have been ex military (FFR) and so it should have some small alloy plates under the bonnet with details on them.
