Threading rear camera monitor wiring through dash MY2016 D4

    Hi all,
Having gone cross-eyed looking through previous posts in search I would like the following info if someone can help please for my 2016 D4 HSE.

I have a Safety Dave Camera on my camper and have bought a dash top monitor to suit. I want to know how best to get the cable from the top of the dash to underneath it please.
    cheers
    David

I know from installing my dash cam there's a gap at the base of the passenger side A pillar directly into the space behind the glove box where the fusebox is. from here it's pretty much open to the footwell and into the centre console. I would assume the driver side has the same gap. you can take the trim on the A pillar off to easily access it.

    Thanks for that.
It’s just what I’ve been looking at... I was concerned about taking the trim off the A pillar because of the airbag in there. Any tips on getting it off? I have the trim removal tools.

    cheers

there's a single screw holding it in place under the little plastic cover with airbag written on it. all you're doing is taking the trim on and off, there shouldn't be any risk of activating the airbag. if you're threading the cable through the A pillar from the roof just make sure it's to the front windshield side of the airbag (it deploys out the side of the trim down the side windows).
