looks like it's a tear in the tupperware unfortunately Chris, Rhs are usually (but not always) the first to go, so good chance that was the side replaced last time.
MY14 TDV6 D4 226,000km. Restricted Performance error today. Still trying to extract the codes with my Nanocom, but I would guess fresh oil here is not a good sign... ?
An inlet manifold was replaced about 2 years ago, but I can't remember which one.
Any first guesses for the fault this time?
Thanks, Chris.![]()

Get your Mrs or a friend to put their left foot on the brake and right foot on the throttle. That's a stall test.. You'll be able to diagnose very quickly
IMHO...
*The manifold that was replaced last time was your drivers side! ok ok its a guess but...
*The passenger side manifold when replaced dont have that white smart label thing on it.
*ALSO when I have seen a passenger side manifold replaced whom ever does it rarely changes the metal plate on top that has the engine number on it. The replacement manifold while it has a metal plate is blank.
*ALSO yet again, if you are the Chris that phoned me for a price, I dunno a few weeks ago? there is a discount to be had being a AULRO member
P.S if you pull back the rubber injector acoustic cover you should clearly see the crack

This useful video popped up for all you 3.0s with cracked manifolds. A decent weekend’s job.
