    D4 3.0 Oil Cooler Refurbishment

I am currently evaluating the ability to rebuild the oil cooler I have removed from my LR.

This component has a few issues.

    1. Manufacturing failed to counter bore all fixing penetrations to produce chamfers at hole entry and exit points which is sound engineering practice.

    2. Rubber seals decompose and become very hard in a limited life time.

I can source and procure all these seals, LR013161 X 3, LR013162 X 1 and LR013151 X 1 which are all fitted externally on the cooler.

My issue is I cannot identify the internal cooler to filter assembly gasket. I can buy this item out of a China supplier however I dont need 500 of them.

This item is readily available for the 2.7 engine however not for the 3.0 TDV6.

Has anyone pursued with sourcing this component as seal replacement could be a more economical solution to replacing the complete cooler?

OK Tracked this down Engine Oil Cooler Gasket Seal For Range Rover Sport Discovery 4 LR4 LR061969 LR040738 LR013149 LR124259|Radiators & Parts| - AliExpress

Might be a solution for someone facing the $s for a genuine or Nissen replacement cooler.
